You want the best for your child. Together, we can help them get there.

Maybe your once carefree child now melts down over the smallest things. Maybe your teen disappears behind a bedroom door, answers every question with “I’m fine,” or seems angry at the world. Maybe your child looks like they have it all together while quietly battling anxiety, perfectionism, or the constant feeling that they’re never enough.

Or maybe something happened that should never have happened, and your child hasn’t been the same since. They are more anxious, more reactive, more withdrawn. Trauma has a way of convincing kids they’re unsafe long after the danger has passed.

Or maybe you are the parent who has tried everything – conversations, consequences, reward charts, parenting books – and you’re still asking yourself:

What am I missing?

Your child isn’t giving you a hard time. They’re having a hard time.

Or maybe you are not seeking services for your child at all. Maybe it’s you. The anxiety, the perfectionism, the feeling of never quite being enough didn’t disappear when you grew up. It just got quieter, or better at hiding. If that sounds familiar, you are in the right place too.

Beneath every challenging behavior, at any age, is a story waiting to be understood, not punished or ignored. Healing begins when children, teens, adults, and families finally feel seen and understood.

You do not have to keep surviving the same patterns. There is another way.

I believe every behavior, emotion, and struggle has a story worth understanding.

My style is warm, collaborative, and engaging. I have a special passion for working with children, adolescents, and younng adults navigating the lasting effects of trauma and anxiety. Whether anxiety has become the loudest voice in the room, emotions feel too big to manage, or past experiences are showing up as behavioral challenges, perfectionism, avoidance, or difficulty trusting others, we will work together to understand what is beneath the surface. I believe behaviors and emotions always tell a story, and together, we will make sense of it.

Because no two individuals or families are the same, I tailor every session using evidence-based approaches to fit your unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Together, we will:

  • Quiet the anxiety that takes over — whether that looks like overthinking, constant worry, avoidance, perfectionism, or feeling stuck in “what ifs.”
  • Work through past experiences that are still showing up in the present, so they have less power over your emotions, relationships, and everyday choices.
  • Strengthen communication and connection by learning how to express needs, navigate conflict, and understand one another without falling into the same frustrating patterns.
  • Build practical tools for the moments that feel hardest, such as managing big emotions, coping with stress, setting boundaries, solving problems, and responding rather than reacting.
  • Develop confidence and resilience that extend beyond the therapy room, so you [or your child] feel more equipped to handle challenges independently long after therapy ends.

Whether you are a parent hoping to reconnect with your child, a teen trying to find your voice, or an adult ready to stop letting anxiety, trauma, or self-doubt call the shots, therapy can become the place where healing begins, and lasting change takes root.

About me

I cannot remember a time when I didn’t want to become a psychologist. From a young age, I found myself naturally drawn to people and their stories. My empathetic nature has always led me to look beneath the surface, to understand not just what someone is feeling or doing, but why. I’ve never believed that people are defined by their behaviors. Instead, I believe every behavior, emotion, and struggle has a story worth understanding.

That belief, paired with my genuine love for working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, is what led me to this profession. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping people of all ages discover their strengths, find their voice, and realize they are capable of more than anxiety, trauma, or self-doubt has led them to believe. Equally meaningful is partnering with parents and caregivers to strengthen relationships and create lasting change that extends far beyond the therapy room.

My mission is to create a space where children, teens, adults, and families feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when people feel safe enough to be themselves, healing happens, relationships grow stronger, and meaningful change becomes possible.

When I am not in the office…

When I’m not in the therapy room, you will usually find me spending time with family and friends, trying a new workout class, exploring South Florida, or planning my next trip. I love finding joy in the little things, whether that is being outdoors, discovering a new coffee shop or restaurant, or simply sharing a good laugh with the people I care about. I strive to practice the same balance and self-care that I encourage my clients to prioritize, because caring for ourselves isn’t a luxury. It’s part of living well.
