Taking the first step and deciding to seek therapy can bring many different emotions—it can be challenging, and unnerving, but it is also an act of bravery.

You have been struggling to navigate life’s challenges on your own, but the truth is you don’t have to.

We don’t have to do all of it alone, we were never meant to” [Brene Brown].

I believe therapy is a courageous and empowering step toward healing, clarity, and connection. I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a special interest in supporting parents, young adults, and those navigating relationship or family transitions. It would be a privilege to support you and your family on the path to growth and connection.

It is my belief that many of life’s experiences do not define us, but instead, provide an opportunity for us to discover our true selves. I can humbly acknowledge that the road to healing and self-discovery is a difficult one, but I am here for you, and it would be my privilege to walk alongside you in your new experience.

Throughout our therapy experience, we will work collaboratively to identify the values and goals that are meaningful to you. We will also explore thoughts of self-doubt hindering you from reaching those goals. Most importantly, I will provide a therapeutic environment to listen to all of your thoughts, hopes, and fears.

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding and true empathy. Yet listening of this very special kind is one of the most potent forces for change” [Carl Rogers].

This quote not only personifies my therapeutic approach but also serves as a professional guiding source.

When you walk through my office door, my warm, authentic, and empathic personality will create a safe space. Here, you can begin to feel more comfortable and vulnerable, let yourself feel your emotions, process past experiences, and identify interpersonal difficulties or new role transitions.

In my work with parents, I aim to bridge the gap between love and understanding. Parenting can bring immense joy, but it also comes with real emotional and relational challenges. Together, we’ll focus on practical, evidence-based strategies while nurturing the emotional connection between you and your child—especially during times of stress, change, or conflict.

I also help couples strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and create shared meaning. Whether you’re feeling distant, stuck in conflict, or navigating major life transitions, couples therapy offers a supportive space to move toward greater trust and intimacy.

For emerging adults—including college students and young professionals—I offer support around anxiety, identity development, family expectations, and the pressures of “figuring it all out.” Therapy can be a grounding experience to help build confidence, insight, and emotional resilience during this formative life stage.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I help clients explore unhelpful patterns, reconnect with their values, and move toward change with compassion and intention. Whether you’re coming to therapy as an individual, partner, or parent, I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s complexities and rediscover your strengths.

About me…

Psychology has always been a passion of mine.

It wasn’t until several years into my academic, and the beginning of my professional career, that a unique and challenging experience made me understand my purpose.  Going through life’s challenges can remind us that unconditional support, as well as validation, are the keys to finding the strength and purpose to pursue a healing journey.

My personal experience provided a deep sense of meaning, it led me to truly sympathize with others, and I learned firsthand about compassion and authenticity, but most importantly it helped solidify my purpose in life, and the importance of helping others find their purpose.

When I’m not in the office..

I enjoy spending time with my family and my adorable, but spunky toddler. We love traveling to Disney World (because its the best place ever), spending time in the Keys fishing, and relaxing as a family. Holiday themed events at my little one’s school, especially “trunk or treat” our a family favorite.).

I also make time for myself where I enjoy my stationary bike, listening to good music, and watching shows on Netflix and HBO

Being surrounded by friends, family, laughter, and positive vibes are what bring me peace and joy.
